Hotel Sierra Resort Hakuba

The private Onsens were amazing especially after a big day skiing / snowboarding! We used the shuttle each day into the mountain and was great!

Better dinner options at the hotel.

Shuttle to Happo and Hakuba base was easy, snow not great but not the hotel's fault. Beautiful hotel, lovelly setting in the woods, amazing Onsen. Nice to have drinks and food available in the lounge.

We could not eat dinner at the restaurant because the fixed menu was not suitable for fish-eating vegetarians. No options at all and no flexibility. If you are a vegetarian, even if you eat fish, you will have to eat elsewhere for dinner, so if you ski during the day, you will have to go out again, and it is either an Uber ride or timing your dinner based on the shuttle.

Poor accessibility (no lift on one side of the hotel); pool closes really early (4pm); no adult only swimming times
