"Some Up's But a lot of Down's!!!"

Hotel location was very central. Now for the critical aspects. No air conditioning in the Hotel. Coming from US, where even Minnesota and Alaska have air conditioning, to expect a hotel in Zurich not to have air conditioning when the mercury is in the 90's is hard to expect. We had to sleep with the windows open and with the downtownish location of the hotel, with tons of bars and disco's in the neighborhood, there was a lot of noise. All in all, could not get proper sleep while there. Decent breakfast, good wifi and staff but unfortunately will not recommend staying here.

"stay only on an inner courtyard"

The first room was very noisy, right on the street, and had delivery trucks right under the window starting at 4:30 a.m. The staff was nice and moved me once I asked.

"Easy walking location"

Hotel in central location for us to get around. Difficult due to only given one key & leave at desk so had to stick together. Great breakfast, early check in allowed

"Good location"

A lot of noise from the pedetrian street next to the hotel. The hotel is old without air cond. in the room. Location of the the hotel is excelent in the middle of old town.

"Excellent location of the hotel "

Hotel is located in the very heart of the Winterthur close to the shops restaurants and railway station. Just 10 minutes by train to Airport and 20 minutes to the Zurich. Professional and very friedly staff

"Decent"

I stayed here for business. You get what you pay for - very simple rooms. No bells or whistles. My only real complaint is there are no screens on the windows. It was too hot in the room to not leave them open and it got buggy and I was constantly worried about birds.
