"Comfort and convenience in the heart of Winterthur"

I stayed one night in the standard queen room in July, 2018. This hotel is very conveniently located (5 minutes walking distance from the main train station, on the main historic/commercial street in town) and was recently renovated.Two receptionists at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, comfortable, had free WiFi access and there was a hand written welcoming note and a tasty wafer waiting for me on the bed. In the bathroom there was a big rainfall shower head and Ritual toiletries that smelled very relaxing. Free breakfast pleasantly surprised me and was plentiful and delicious. The only downside was that the window in my room was facing the building next door so there wasn't much of a view. Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay at Sorell Hotel Krone, would gladly stay here again and could recommend it to anybody who is looking for a comfortable and conveniently located hotel in the heart of Winterthur.

Great location, roght across rail station. Close to the shopping and restaurant Area. The hotel staff was excellent. Rooms very neat and clean. Breakfast buffet excellent.

Sehr freundliches, aufmerksames Personal. Komfortables, modernes Zimmer zum Innenhof, da wir ein ruhiges Zimmer gewünscht haben. Es gibt jedoch auch Zimmer zur Fußgängerzone hinaus, da ist es abends sehr lebhaft.

unser zimmer war zu einer strasse die lange bis in die nacht noch laut war (kein verkehr, nur geschwätz und gegröle) dafür kann das hotel ja nichts.... sonst war alles prima!

"Schöne Lage, sehr freundlich und sauber"

Schöne zentrale Lage in der Altstadt, mit vielen verschiedenen Geschäften. Einige Museen sind super zu Fuß zu erreichen. Super leckeres Frühstück. Hier wurde Wert auf qualitative Lebensmittel gelegt. Sehr zuvorkommendes Personal. Tolle komfortable Zimmer.

Das Hotel Krone bietet freundliches Personal und ein angenehmes Ambiente im Stadtzentrum Winterthur. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel eingerichtet und bieten viel Komfort. Bei längeren Aufenthalte kann da kein anderes Hotel in dieser Stadt mithalten. Bei kürzeren Aufenthalte ist für mich die Lage ausschlaggebend.
