Exceptional. Nothing else to say really. Rooms are lovely, pool is very nice. Breakfast was very very good with great friendly service amd good coffee. Quiet but only a short walk to local bars and 15 minute walk to night markets.

Our room was spacious. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed the breakfast and having yoga classes available with an amazing instructor was a real bonus. The on-site tour staff were great and the tours were good value. Overall a great place to stay.

The hotel was beautiful, the staff was exceptional & a special shoutout to Cha, who arranged our trip to the elephants & Chiang Rai. He went above and beyond our expectations. Thanks again Cha

It is located crossed the river from Night Bazaar street, which is not that far. The room is clean and with nice view of courtyard swimming pool. The furniture in the room is cheap material, the fixtures in the bathroom are not properly installed, the shower door is not waterproof and has bad water smell, toilet cover is also cheap plastic. The service was slow checkin and checkout (need to verify items in the room), and someone in the front desk mistakenly called us at 7am for pickup of tour. A room directly cross us from the courtyard hung their underwear outside of their balcony that’s really disappointed, and the front desk explained that typical behavior of mainland Chinese. In fact, the most guests we saw are mainland Chinese that could be noisy sometimes. Overall, it’s a bad experience for us and for the same price we could just stay in Shangri La for our entire trip.

Staying here was OK. Room was fine including 3x500ml bottles water in fridge each day and bananas/oranges. The breakfast had a good selection as did menu in restaurant in the evening. Security team will help cross the road to the restaurant which is on the river front (Deck 1). I stay in spa hotels when travelling alone as I like to be able to se the gym/spa in the evening after a day sightseeing. Gym is well equipped but open to the air so issue re mosquitos etc. The main swimming pool is outdoor and not heated which may be fine if you wish a dip in the middle of the day to cool down but in the early evening, water was too cold for me (really ice cold). Onsen was pleasant but you have to pay for this (£14), are allowed 30mins to use the 3 pools and then are escorted out, even though the entire spa was totally empty. The hydropool and steam room also carry a charge which was more than I was prepared to pay (I think £24). This is not really clear even in the spa menu at the hotel and not on the website. So it was not really possible for me to use spa/gym/swim facilities in the evenings as I had hoped. Yoga class morning and evening is offered for free you just need to book in advance. this is not a 5 star hotel IMO - its pleasant and 4 star. Staff in hotel not very helpful. Concierge is a tour company who charge you a lot but won't tell you basic information about how to get somewhere and charge a lot more for basic taxi journeys than other taxi companies.

Very nice hotel situated in a quiet environment! Friendly staff and clean. Will come back again next time we visit Chiangmai again.

Not a 5 star hotel anywhere in the world. Bad quality pillow and mattress. Gym equipment in poor condition. Staff wanted to help but first impression maters.
