Location for old York. Good value for money. Off road parking. Friendly staff. Comfortable accommodation.

Shower temperature control ineffective.

Staff very nice and accommodating. Very clean, nice touches in the room, shower roomy and hot and the pizzas are really tasty. Very close to York centre so ideal location.

The app for ordering the food was very no user friendly

The room was hot with only a sky light . Too hot even with air con . Feel that the late parking fee of £10 was unnecessary as the time out was 2pm and the time for check in was 3pm . Breakfast choice was restrictive .

The hotel oversells its boutique nature. The public rooms for breakfast are fine, but the bedrooms are dated and tired. There is better value in York.

Very comfortable bed, good sized room (the standard double) and very good location to York city centre.

The breakfast menu was very bad value for money, with no coffee offerings beyond pots. The average hot breakfast options are £17.50 each and I can find numerous restaurants in the city centre that charge less for a better meal. The pancakes were microwaved and unpleasant and the breakfast bap was £17.50 with an orange juice (not fresh as advertised) and pot of coffee which is very expensive for the quality. The cutlery and table settings including glasses weren’t clean which led to a bad general experience
