"First trip to Lake Lure"

Our stay was nice enough. The accommodations were clean enough. The jacuzzi did not work. Our deck overlooked a kudzu gully. We were in town for a cycling event and that was very well done. I am sure we would have enjoyed the resort amenities if we had more time. Would love to play the golf course. All in all the lodging was good, but just too far from our activities in lake lure.

"Our trip to the Mountians"

We enjoyed the beautiful landscaping and the good food from local Huckleberry Inn. However, when the people arrived in the overhead A unit ajoining our B townhouse unit the noise began. Heavy walking and their washing machine running early in the morning was irritating. The noise woke us early and continued until the people left for the day. We enjoyed being away from the townhouse.

It was relaxing and very beautiful the only problem was we could here everything the neighbors wete doing that was a little nerve racking but the over all stay was excellent.....

"We would return"

Wyndham is charging a fair price for what you get for an older resort. The accommodations were acceptable. We enjoyed the hand written welcome note and chocolates. Everything was as advertised, but we were disappointed that we could hear street noise. The amenities are a short drive down the road and lovely. We highly recommend the 1 1/2 hour boat cruise on beautiful Lake Lure.

"On the outskirts"

We stayed in the B part of a lockout, which was nice enough, if you don't mind the small living area being upstairs, with everything else downstairs. Everything was quite nice, though it's well north of Lake Lure, quite a haul from attractions at the lake and in Chimney Rock. Nearby restaurants were very good. Checkout was at 10 a.m., a little earlier than expected, but overall, a very nice stay.
