The Caledon Hotel and Spa

The informative and helpful staff. Safe environment, clean all round, amenities were sufficient, beds were super comfy. Food was fresh and tasty at breakfast. Casino staff were friendly and helpful, as well as porters. Of course the hot springs were the highlight! nestled into nature, it was really perfect to unwind and get away from the norm of the city.

Guests smoked in their rooms; the smell travelled to the wall ways which is unpleasant for non-smokers. At breakfast, an outdoors designated smoking area would be great, instead of guests smoking wherever they prefer when outside. Only one porter on duty upon check-in and check-out was way too little for the number of guests.

Plenty to do at the hotel

Rooms are looking tired, not many options for a dinner with the Black Sheep closed.

Had to request sofa bed to be made up and extra towel even though booked for 3 persons?!? Staffs unwelcoming attitude at Black Sleep restaurant!
