Quiet and peaceful, lovely countryside. Good for walks in extensive grounds. Rooms are clean and comfortable and suitable for short stays. Food in the restaurant very good and comfortable bar.

Bar prices are expensive.

Its location is convenient for us.

The bathroom was NOT clean. The lack of sound insulation is always problematic. There was insufficient hot water at key times.

Nice hotel just outside Northampton. Electric charging facilities for the car were great ,easy to use and fast. Hotel staff are polite and helpful. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable . The buffet at breakfast was tasty and fresh with new hot food replaced quickly. I didn't manage to use the pool which was a shame but it looked nice, Overall it was a very pleasant stay

The bathroom was a bit dated and the shower head needed replacing No other concerns
