Hampton Inn Santa Rosa

Check in went OK. Not overly friendly. When we got to the room it smelled terrible and the TV wouldn’t work. When I asked for help, there was no other room available. We did get the tv working and opened the window. The room showed a lot of wear, but was functional and mostly clean. The biscuits for breakfast were good .

It’s wasn’t clean at all. Bathroom was dirty, shower tub sounded like you were about to fall through.

Absolutely nothing!!

Filthy everywhere starting on the outside. Front desk attendant was rude. Smelled like dog urine and mildew as soon as you walked in. Getting off elevator was like stepping into a slum. Opened door and the stench knocked you down. Dogs left unattended in rooms were continuously barking. My 91 year old Mother was in a separate room down the hall, and it was even worse. I've stayed exclusively at Hampton Inns for years, including at least 25 times in the last 2 years. Santa Rosa put an end to that. I think they must have bought an abandoned Motel 6 and put a Hampton Inn sign out front.

No breakfast

The toilet would not flush completely.

The gentleman at the front desk was friendly and informative. The top bed sheet was the softest I’ve ever had at a hotel. I’m sure it helped me sleep better. The location was perfect for what we needed.

Upon walking into the bathroom there was a hair on the floor where the floor mat goes. Then I see several pieces of hair in the corner of the wall and tub, and lastly a piece of hair stuck to the door with static electricity. I was pretty much disgusted from there. It was late and we didn’t have anywhere else to go.

This hotel needs a serious renovation, cleaning, and overall care. Do not stay at this property. The staff were fine and the breakfast was expected. Stay elsewhere
