Four Seasons St. Louis

The staff celebrated my birthday by sending a yummy chocolate cupcake and root bear! They gave us popcorn for the family movie we rented in the room- no charge. I felt like a princess before my Television appearance on Good Day St Louis!!!!

The views from the pool were great as well as the access to the Spa with the whirlpool. Restaurant experience was underwhelming for a very nice hotel but it was kind of convenient although service was NOT fast or attentive. The room did have a comfortable bed. First room had a bath tub that was not working properly and maintenance came and tried to fix it and could not, so I was switched to a suite to "compensate". The suite had a special view and a working bathtub. The experience overall was pretty good. Thanks.

Great help and classy property

The bedrooms and bathrooms are tired and typical of outdated US hotels needing some tlc. Staff were great though and the food good too. Albeit paying $60 a day for breakfast is a bit mad. The Gordon Ramsey restaurant was okay but like lots of his places, the menu was naff and the wine list worse. How he manages to keep open is beyond me. Annoyingly, guests were unable to go to the pool area from the floor the pool is on. Bizarrely you had to go down to the 7th floor and back up stairs to the 8th. Someone needs to get some common sense and think that one over, again.

Spa and pool was great!

Housekeeping, pool and room service staff are terrific. check in was unnecessarily rude, and when I complained to management about their rudeness (which really came out of nowhere, I was being perfectly polite, asking at 2:30 to know when my suite might be ready, and getting a snippy, “I’m not the one cleaning your room, sir, so obviously I don’t know.”) I got the old millenial eye roll. The hotel is OK, but without the service there’s not that much to recommend it, at this price point, other than the pool and (as I mentioned) the housekeeping and room service staff.

My girlfriend and I stayed at the Four Seasons St. Louis on June 21st, which was my birthday. What should have been a special and relaxing occasion turned into a very distressing experience. While using the bathroom, my girlfriend fainted — primarily due to the dangerously deep and slippery bathtub design, which lacked proper anti-slip protection. She fell and hit her chin on the sharp corner of the table leg, causing bleeding and severe bruising that lasted for days. After returning home, we had to seek medical treatment and pay additional out-of-pocket expenses. The hotel’s response was minimal — just a bandage and some ice. There was no professional medical assessment or follow-through on safety protocols. It’s now been nearly two months, and despite a brief voicemail from hotel security, we have received no clear follow-up, apology, or discussion of compensation or safety improvements. This is absolutely unacceptable for a property under the Four Seasons brand. I am writing this review not just for accountability but also to warn other guests about the potential safety risks. We expected a standard of care and attention that was simply not there when it mattered most.
