The fact that they had no front desk staff.

Absolutely nothing. This place is horrible.

The day we were supposed to check in the staff was nowhere to be found. Nobody was at the property. We have to find another hotel last minute and pay double the price.

Not a single thing

There was no staff to check anyone in. They left a phone number to call only to forward all calls to voicemail. The customer service for the hotel were rude and when informed that there was no staff to check anyone in, they insisted on making a new reservation.

Price- will never book an inexpensive lodging again

It was a shock to arrive and learn that there were no rooms available, not even for those with paid reservations like us. The facility was in disastrous disrepair. The young man behind the desk seemed impaired. Fortunately, my companion was able to find a room at a nearby hotel.

Terrible experience. I informed the hotel in advance about my late arrival and was told check-in would be available. After arriving with my wife and baby in the middle of the night, the property was closed with no assistance or communication provided.

JoJo on reception went out of her way to fix the problem with my reservation -- she spent a long time trying to find an available room for me, and even cleaned a room because the housekeeper had already left.

My reservation was totally screwed up and there was no room available for me. To make matters worse, the hotel's reservation system hadn't been updated properly, so the receptionist (JoJo, who was very nice) had no idea which rooms were occupied. After a lengthy wait of about 45 minutes to get a room, JoJo eventually gave me the key to a supposedly-vacant room, but when I opened the door, there was a guy in the room already! Eventually JoJo gave me the key to an empty room that she said she would have to clean herself, and I left for a dinner appointment without actually ever getting into my room. The next day, someone (I assume housekeeping?) tried to enter the room early -- fortunately I had put the deadlock on the door, but the person yelled at me very rudely that I shouldn't be in there. A little while later, the phone in the room rang, I was yelled at again that I shouldn't be in the room and needed to leave immediately, otherwise the police would be called! I told them that JoJo had put me in the room and that I had a reservation, but the woman on the phone was adamant that I needed to come down to the reception to sort the situation out. I was still in bed at this point, so eventually I hung up in frustration. The extremely rude woman called back a few minutes later, and we had another similarly heated conversation in which she aggressively told me that I had to get out of a room that I had paid almost $100 for! I told her I would be out by the checkout time of 11am. I was planning to complain to this extremely obnoxious staff member on the way out of the hotel, but there was a guy on reception who clearly wasn't who had been rude and he was already dealing with several other guests, so I just tossed my keycard in the basket and left, glad that I was finally getting out of this hellhole of a hotel forever.
