The Inn at Creek Street has about six different properties along Creek Street - we stayed in Thelma's Place. (It does have stairs if you are mobility impaired.) I think this is one of the nicest hotels in Ketchikan. The room was very spacious and very clean and the bed was super comfortable. It also had a tiny kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave and sink. The person at the front desk was super nice and very helpful and sympathetic when one of us suffered an illness. The location is very convenient - you can walk everywhere, but, as a plus, it's just a little off the congested docks where the big cruise ships dock. The creek walk is cool - it does get filled with tourists (OK - we were tourists too) during the day, but becomes quiet and more tranquil at night. P.S. The New York Cafe down the street is fantastic! I ended up being stuck in Ketchikan two extra days due to my wife's illness, and ate at the Cafe four times! Very comfortable place, great food, appealing menu. On Friday night they had very good live music - not something I do very often - it was fun!

Personnel: friendly, helpful, informative! Rooms were charming, comfortable, well-equipped. Great view! Can’t wait to come back!

Loved staying in historic buildings directly over water in the heart of town. Staff was very accommodating. Spent nights in both Star House and New York Hotel. Both outstanding. Can control temp of room. Easy hot water. Good price.

Be prepared to navigate stairs with your luggage! Also, sidewalk very busy with cruise ship tourists throughout day, but still worth the beautiful location.

My group - 5 adults - arrived before the normal check-in. We were met on time at the ferry by Brittany, who is wonderful, friendly, helpful, and it all got even better from there.

There was nothing that we didn't like about the Inn at Creek Street. The only question is the elevator, it seems a little precarious, but we were grateful for it!
