King's Pointe Waterpark Resort

Clean and well maintained but not worth the money. There is no continental breakfast (restaurant on site), there is a waterpark attached but was not open when we checked in. There is not a pool/hot tub that isn’t attached to the waterpark so there is nothing to do on your downtime.

Check in woman was nice, but brand new, thus a possible explanation. She had difficulty getting my Charge card to register so did a repeat. Next I went to my room & it was inhabited by a maintenance worker working. Finally, at checkout another woman greeted me as “Roger.” When I corrected her she responded, “just kidding,” but I doubt that was the case.

Front desk customer service was suboptimal. Front desk clerk actually dropped an "f - bomb" under her breath regarding the customer checking in before me. Room was not ready at checkin time. Room was terribly dirty; bathroom was disgusting and had a terrible smell for the first couple hours we were there. Food from the restaurant was good, however toom service staff made the announcement they had never done room service before and seemed very uncomfortable. Will not recommend, will not return.

My son and I were there to visit Buena Vista University. The hotel and the staff were great. If my son decides to attend Buena Vista King’s Point will have regular visitors during soccer season. Great place to stay!!!

We love the waterpark & the rooms are nice and big. We ate dinner at the Regatta for the first time (this was our 3rd stay) and while it was very good, they seemed to be out of a lot of items on the menu which made it difficult to order. The food we did order was great and we would recommend eating there. The staff was super friendly and the housekeeping ladies were always smiling and chatting with us in the hallways. Great staff.

Looked for somewhere to bring my 4 year old. We deove 6 hours to go to their water park, which they represent as a "waterpark resort". When we checked in we were told thay the waterpark isnt open during the week? Very unhappy 4 year old...I would have stayed somewhere for half the price with a free breakfast.

Hotel room was clean. Water park was nice. Lifeguards were very good. Watched kids continually! Safe!

Lobby and restaurant are really nice. First room they put me in had been smoked in and second room had quite a bit of damage in the bathroom and wasn’t very clean. Broken tile and grout on the floor, mildew in the corners.i feel like it’s time for at least a bathroom remodel

I would say overall a very nice place to stay. The only thing that I didn’t like was the restaurant/bar closing at 10pm. Getting there at 945 didn’t give me any opportunity. It won’t deter my next stay if I’m in the area, just will know to slip in a little earlier or pick up some food on the way
