King's Pointe Waterpark Resort

Good time:)

Enjoyed our stay, kids enjoyed the water park. The only down fall was the restaurant, 1.5 hour wait for dinner.

The hotel itself was nice and very clean. However, it appeared to be run soley by teenagers. The service was sub-par. We ordered food from the restaurants to go and waited for 30 minutes after the time given for pick up, at which point it was cold, and inedible. When brought to their attention all that was offered was an apology. The TV in the room didn't work, the coffee pot in the room didn't work, the ice machine on the st and 2nd floors didn't work. The kids really enjoyed the waterpark.

Room was large,bed very comfortable,clean, restaurant on site... food very good, very helpful staff, quiet... good location... would stay there again!

Staff was unpleasant and not helpful, Couldn’t even give information about Times they started serving breakfast, Just a blank stare and confused speech.

Front Desk, Restaurant and water park were fantastic but our room had a foul odor to it when we checked in.

The location is excellent: Storm Lake is beautiful! There are walking trails alongside the lake. The hotel rooms are clean however some maintenance is over due: spots on the carpets and on the upholstery, rusty fire sprinklers in the bathroom, worn out doors, peeling wallpaper, chipped bath tub, etc. The water park is pretty fun; there is no discount for the hotel guests and you have to reserve a room with water park passes or else you have to purchase the water passes separately. The restaurant has great views; the food is hit and miss and so is the service.

Disappointed for the price we paid, we didn’t have a microwave in our room, and there were strands of hair on our bed linen, the ice machine down the hall was broken. Breakfast at the restaurant was “ok” and the price was fair. Lunch however, was different story, clearly the restaurant was way under understaffed, had to wait for ever to sit at a table, and it also took along time to get our food.

Nice place with all the amenities my family and I were looking for. Will definitely go back again!
