San Luca Palace Hotel

It was a lovely hotel in a great location . Only a couple of minor issues . The air conditioner switched on and off frequently which was a bit disturbing and the remote control for the television was faulty and needed several visits from staff to fix the problem. The problem was with the television not the control . Overall it was very good . The sound proofing was excellent ,there were two large concerts nearby one night we were there and we were not disturbed at all by them .

The San Luca Palace Hotel is a lovely hotel within the city walls of the beautiful town of Lucca. The staff were all very friendly and spoke excellent English. The room was large, very clean and well-appointed with a very smart bathroom. Although there is no restaurant the breakfast area was very nice and the buffet breakfast provided everything you could wish for. There was also a cosy bar area for a relaxed evening drink. We loved our stay and would definitely return again.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Reservations for restaurants and travel were handled efficiently.

Location location location. Just two minutes walk from the bus station, the hotel is just inside the walls. Our room was huge and comfortable. All amenities provided, except water, but in Italy you get used to hotels that don’t provide acqua.

The staff are exceptional - friendly, professional and helpful - they were especially patient with my attempts to speak italian. The rooms are impeccable, my only minor quibble is - no tea making facilities in the room

I stayed here for two nights & wish i could have stayed longer. My room (41) was very spacious clean & quiet. The staff were very friendly & helpful. Loved it!

We had a wonderful stay at the San Luca Palace Hotel in Luca. It is within the medieval walls, yet not far from the train station. The medieval city center can easily be walked, making the hotel's location perfect for sightseeing and yet quiet in the evening. We used the train to travel from Nice, to reach our next destination, Florence, and for a day trip to Cinque Terre so the 15 minute walk to the train station was ideal. The entrance to the wall is very near the hotel and fantastic for morning and evening strolls or bike rides.The hotel provides bicycles for their guests. Our room was large, with a king size bed and a large chaise lounge (the size of a twin), both were very comfortable. There was also a desk and a sitting area with table and comfortable chairs The breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the breakfast area lovely. The staff members were friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.
