Jolie Ville Hotel & Spa Kings Island Luxor

The Jolie Ville is a tranquil haven in beautiful garden surroundings. We found all the staff to be extremely helpful, courteous and friendly. We initially visited in January for four nights and enjoyed our time so much, went back in February / March for a fortnight. We will be heading back for sure.

We booked through Radwa and her agency for a few tours while we stayed at the Jollie ville hotel and she was truly so helpful, thoughtful, and exceeded our expectations. She was truly amazing and would definitely recommend her.!

We have been having a wonderful time here. Staff have gone far and beyond to make you feel happy and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the sfaff. Mongy greets us at every meal with anything we want (cheese at one point!) he never seems to have any time off! And is always happy and helpful. Thank you Mongy!!

We visited Luxor as a group, coming from Greece with "Pyramis Travel". We stayed two nights at the hotel. It is a beautiful location with a pleasant atmosphere and excellent food. However, we had an issue with our rooms. Most of them were dusty and dirty. Some had worn towels, others had dirty carpets, and one had damaged faucets. It gave us the impression that we had arrived unexpectedly, and the hotel was unprepared to host us! We didn't expect that situation in a 5-star hotel. Of course, after our remarks, the personnel tried immediately to recover everything. It seemed that somebody didn't do their job well!

Smashing Hotel. Beautifully clean. Restaurant food was tasty and different everyday. Puddings a work if art. Suzy met us at the door every evening, with a beautiful smile, very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed for our meals.

During my stay at Jolie Ville in Egypt, at approximately 2:50 AM, I was abruptly awakened by extremely loud and aggressive knocking on my door. The knocking was forceful and repeated multiple times, clearly not a normal or professional manner of approach. When I asked, “What is it?”, the person responded, “Room service.” However, I did not request any room service. I clearly said “No.” The person repeated “Room service” two more times, and only stopped after I firmly refused three times. As a solo female traveler, this incident raises serious safety concerns. Repeatedly knocking on a guest’s door in the middle of the night and attempting to justify it as “room service” without a request is highly inappropriate and alarming. I did not feel safe enough to fall back asleep afterward. I had a 2 AM flight the following night, and this incident significantly disrupted my rest and affected my entire day. What is even more disappointing is the hotel’s response. After contacting the hotel, I received no clear explanation—only that the matter is “still under investigation.” For an issue involving guest safety, such a vague and passive response is unacceptable. This is not merely an unpleasant experience; it reflects a serious lapse in security management. I strongly believe this may not be the first occurrence. If a hotel cannot ensure the basic safety of its guests—especially women traveling alone—that is a fundamental failure. I express my strong dissatisfaction with both the incident and the hotel’s handling of it. I also urge female travelers, particularly solo travelers, to exercise extreme caution when considering staying here.

A wonderful safe haven with plenty of room to explore the island, swim in the 3 pools and enjoy excellent buffet breakfasts with every nationality catered for. Very peaceful with the twittering of the sparrows and white wagtails and very little noise from neighbours

the hotel itself has very large, clean rooms. the staff couldn't do enough to help. my zircon wasn't working but maintenance came straight out to sort it out, no complaints there. the food however, wasn't great. the service at the 'cafe' during the day time, wasn't great, and the service was actually nearly non existent. when you did manage to get somebody's attention, your request, for sauces or more drinks etc, was just ignored. during the evening, trying to get a drink at the bar was imnpossibkle too. the bar staff were too busy talking to each other instead of serving drinks. staff wise, wasn't excellent. hence the 4 stars

Beautiful setting, very secluded with luscious surroundings, with several swimming pools, two of them expansive infinity lagoon type, giving you the feeling that you are swimming in the great River Nile. The service was exceptional during our stay between 3/2-10/2, where the weather was amazing. I would like to thank all the staff, especially Muhammad Faheem (ElSisi), for his continuous care and meticulous attention to our accommodation on the second floor, and his ever-widening smile and readiness to help and made our stay faultless

BE NICE Let’s clear something up! The main Hotels in Luxor all use a filtration system for their water. So far we have had fresh salads, fresh fruit, iced drinks and all manner of cooked foods. All delicious and NO tummy problems whatsoever. We both have delicate tummy’s so need to be cautious with food and drink. If your check-in is afternoon or evening then brace yourself for a long wait. However the staff in the morning seem far more capable so our top tip would be. Just get checked in and wait until the morning if you have any issues. All the staff from cleaner to manager are really helpful and friendly so long at you ARE NICE. Being respectful pays dividends in Egypt. However, when being badgered by the locals, be firm, they won’t take a simple no thank for an answer. TOP TIP Make sure that you have lots of small Egyptian money (50s, 100s, 200s) as almost any interaction requires a tip. 5 star in Egypt is not 5 star in Europe so bare this in mind when you are shown to your room. They are clean, comfortable and functional but they are not to a European 5 star standard. BE NICE !
