Great facilities, lovely room and friendly staff

There’s wasn’t anything to dislike

We booked this hotel as it is close to Jodrell Bank and it seemed like a really good place to stay and a good price on our last night after our Scottish holiday. How wrong we were to hotel is vast, we had a room at the back in a fairly modern block. The picture gives a false impression. The fittings were old, the shower leaked and had little pressure the bathroom door is delaminating from the damp. The restaurant menu was so limited we changed to the bar menu. The food was very basic and not worth the money my wifes panini was annihilate in a microwave. The staff were very friendly but this place is awfull. It tended to spoil the end of our holiday. We would have happily paid more if the place was good but it is very very tired and the advertised photos gives a false representation Breakfast was ok and the Staff very helpfull and friendly

Beautiful entrance hall

The room smelt of feet and there were biscuit crumbs on the floor. My son’s bed had a spring sticking out which dug in his back all night. The ironing board cover was damaged. We were in a rush to go to a wedding and staff member trying to sort out my mums room kept answering the phone instead of dealing with the issue we had which delayed us so we literally arrived at the wedding 3 minutes before it started.
