"Bonvoy Elites Beware - no guaranteed late checkout."

2 night stay. Marriott lifetime platinum. Late checkout request. 4pm is supposed to be guaranteed for Marriott Platinum/titanium. The front desk staff is rude. I’ve never had such a struggle with this benefit as I did with this location. I messaged to let the front desk know that I needed late checkout. The lady at the front desk pulled out a Marriott benefits poster from 7 years ago, dated 11/18, which she claimed was from 11/18/24 and had just printed last year. It was covered in dust. Not only did she lie directly to a guest’s face, but the house keeping “manager” informed me that I wasn’t going to have late checkout while speaking over me. I opened a case with Marriott corporate. The manager also claimed that Marriott categorized SpringHill suites as a convention property so it doesn’t have to honor that benefit. Bonvoy elites be aware, not a good choice. Property is a bit run down. AC was banged up and the kitchenette was starting to fall apart. Lobby shows definite signs of being long overdue for a remodel. I also didn’t get the best feeling pulling in at night. I will not stay here again. Marriott did offer me the compensation in points.

"Nice place to stay."

Location. Interstate near by and plenty of restaurants and stores in the surrounding area. Friendly and efficient staff, especially the young lady at the front desk at check in.

Room layout was awkward. TV is in a poor position for viewing. Bathroom should have the toilet, lavatory, and shower in one room, not split with the toilet and lavatory in one room and the shower and a second lavatory in a second room.

Room was very clean and comfortable. Nice layout of room with 2 sinks. Only complaint is lots of motorcycles wizzing by on main highway to wake you up
