Hampton Inn Utica

Rug felt damp. Only two limp pillows. Felt really low budget but paid more than that.

The room was comfortable. Breakfast was standard fare. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. Tricky to find entrance. Turn at Denny’s.

Food for breakfast was good. Parking lot was torn up and behind a Dennys to get to. Very little in room and more expensive than neighboring hotel with far better amenities. Basic and boring.

The room was ok except for a problem with the bathtub. Could not get the tub plug to pop up so you get stuck with water not draining. The shower curtain also let water through the fabric, and had to put a towel on the floor to sop up the water. Water on the floor is a hazard. Doubt we will stay there again.
