Hampton Inn Utica

We were traveling to Utica to have Thanksgiving dinner with one branch of my wife's extended family. The Hotel was a 7 minute drive from dinner...on ONE road! Can't beat that. We checked in late; no issues. Parking was a breeze. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the HVAC worked perfectly, and coffee the next morning was very good. Hot water for my shower was plentiful. "Fit for purpose", as the Brits say.

The staff was the only good part of this stay.

The sheets were stained. I’m sure they weren’t changed between visitors. The pillowcases, footed sheets stained. One fitted sheet had crust on it. The front desk lady had to bring us all new sheets, that we had to change ourselves. She was the only one working in the hotel by herself, that’s dangerous. When turning on water in shower a big chunk of hair came up from the drain. Wash your sheets in bleach if the stain doesn’t come out, throw them out. We deserve a refund for doing our own housekeeping.

Great location. Plentiful breakfast. Clean comfortable room. Really warm greeting from Bambi in reception who was very helpful with info on where to eat

It was all good. Great stop over for us graded to Canada!

The place was clean. The water pressure was super, and the temperature was hot. I didn't want to get out!

The location was kind of hidden. The driveway was not marked well and took a minute to find.

Parking was safe. A little tricky getting into the parking lot from the main road, but clean rooms and friendly staff. Convenient area with bags for waste provided for our dog.
