Great room, beautiful building and grounds, which are very well kept.. Food in Harry’s Bar was good. Lots of areas to sit and relax. Everywhere very comfortable. Spa looked good but didn’t have an opportunity to use it. Would recommend. X

This hotel is clean and comfortable not by any means luxurious. Service was very basic. Phone and television in the room of one of our party didnt work and was not fixed the two nights we were there. Prepare for long walks in winding corridors with no help from staff in navigating your way, even on arrival. Only makes sense to stay there for events for what they charge.

Rooms need soundproofing. You can hear conversations in rooms next door. Kept awake by someone snoring in the next door room. Otherwise a lovely hotel and Spa.

Beautiful Manor House. Staff really friendly. Had an issue with my room which was resolved immediately. Only minor negative comment is with the hotel being so remote there was no TV in the bar/restaurant. As an avid sports fan it would have been good to be able to watch football while having a drink at the bar.

So glad we chose this hotel! Staff were so helpful, enjoyed our breakfast and the swimming pool/gym

I have been to the property before the renovations and loved it so much we went back after the renovations. The reception area has moved as it was before to through the lovely archway front door and now it’s to the side of the building. Greeted by Reception and waited for our room to be ready. Once we got in it felt the renovations was not up to standards and felt still on the old side. The bathroom was in a state and had hairs on the shower tiles, mirror has smudges on it and the toilet roll was so dusty it was on top black. I did call Reception for the Housekeeping to come in and clean this area again which they did promptly but this should not of happened. It was our anniversary and a card was given but could have gone the extra mile.

Stayed for 1 night for my husband's birthday. Horwood house sent me options for additional extra's that I could add to our stay at a price such as cake etc. I chose not to add any thing on as they were quite expensive. Lots of parking on site & parking is free which is very helpful. Check in was super easy & quick. We had the option for a late checkout for £10 per hour which we booked 2 hours extra for a cost of £20 which we thought was very good. We stayed in a stable king room, very private only 2 rooms neighbour eachother which gave a unique experience. Grounds are absoloutely stunning!! The hotel itself is very modern and beautiful. The bed was huge and comfortable. We visited the spa which was clean and lovely but was slightly cold. Sauna is small can fit 4 people so often have to take this in turn. The pool had dedicated splash times for children which can be quite busy. You have the option to rent a dressing gown for £10 (expensive if your only wearing it for 1-2 hours!) at the spa as they only come with suite rooms. We didn't stay for breakfast but restaurant at dinner time was busy so the food must be good! We would recommend to stay here & will be staying again!
