Almare, a Luxury Collection Resort, Isla Mujeres Cancun, Adult All-Inclusive

Beautiful and elegant. The staff were amazing, food and beverages were a delight. The room was gorgeous, bed and linens so comfy. Quiet and relaxing. The spa was wonderful, massage was just perfect.

The property was beautiful. Service was slow at multiple restaurants and food sometimes didn’t come at all. Staff complained that the resort was understaffed which would likely account for the lack of service.

Amazing food. Lovely people. Beautiful resort. We will be back!

I’ve stayed at multiple properties on Isla Mujeres and this one is by far the best. The entire property is very well maintained and the staff were so anttentive and friendly. I really liked that this was truly an all inclusive and there were no up charges aside from spa services. There were plenty of waiters, bartenders, and loungers by the pool and on the beach. It was also nice that all of the restaurants had menus and the options were based on local ingredients. I’m a picky eater and I don’t think there was a single thing I tired I didn’t like. The breakfast at Boga… chefs kiss. Special shout out to Reyes, the activities coordinator who kept up entertained throughout our stay. I will definitely be back and I have already recommended this property to multiple friends and family.

Nice furnitures and staff! Great room and drinks. However limited food options. After 2 days started to be all repetitive. For lunch was available only snacks. For dinner the same limited menu every night. A lot of boats and music in both sides of the hotel take a little bit the peace.

Did not realize this hotel had just open last year. It is relatively new and there needs to be more perks.

Excellent service, very clean & well decorated hotel & rooms. We booked a junior suite ocean view, our room overlooked a water park & a party boats pier, load music all day. Limited menu & restaurant choice. Food quality below average however excellent bar & drinks collection. There isn't In-room liquor dispensers as described on Expedia. Very limited Onsite entertainment. Over priced in comparison to other luxury properties in the Caribbean Islands. Scuba diving, snorkeling excursion not included. Transfer from the airport of Cancun, round trip for 2 persons, will cost you $ 280.

I have made several complaints regarding my stay and nobody has taken me serious. Upon arrival I asked for a refund ao that we could move our reservation down the street and the “manager” Would not honor that. I think that is wrong. Not only that, they took my bags to another room. That was not good. Then on top of that the facility is only functioning at 40 percent. They don’t have enough workers at each station which then makes be resort close down many places. Only giving 2 options to eat and rbe wait time is wayyyyy too long. Only 20-26 people at resort as same time as us so there should have been no excuses. I have video, pictures and everything. Nobody from Expedia has offered to partial reimburse me or anything. I get hung up on every time. I will be making the decision if I want to book with you all anymore bc I don’t feel you have the customers best interest but you do have the consumers. Very very disappointed and aggrevated.

We just returned from Almare. We chose the property because we were looking for a small resort feel rather than a large hotel feel. The resort is small, which hit the mark. The beach is small, but you can walk out into the water and see to the bottom. There are limited food choices. Alcohol choices are the best we have encountered for an all-inclusive. They have top shelf liquor to choose from. The service is impeccable! The resort is still being put together and polished. It will be an excellent resort when everything is truly ready.

Pro’s: Shoutout to David and Captain eddy and the whole staff for making my stay the best. The staff accommodated my wife’s Birthday with an in-room balloon greeting, a private sectioned off dinner on the room and ofcourse David my favorite bartender with the best drink mixes. I loved the tequila tasting night and doing activities with experience coordinators. Cons: 1) food: the food with midtier. I loved the rooftop food the best due to it’s comfort food menu. I advise increase the shrimp options on menu, 2) jacquee should definitely be advertised as part of the spa and something you would have to pay for. I think all hotels need an indoor option for rainy days 3) online the rooms all look the same with different views. When in reality the smaller rooms has jacquees while my bigger room had a smaller tub. It would be great if you can update the room pictures to accurately reflect. Overall 9.5/10. Will come back soon
