Working in Tenerife Port so stayed at this hotel, very convenient, clean and helpful staff

Hotel was excellent and perfectly located in the centre of town but just off the main high street meaning it was less noisy. Breakfast was amazing and very reasonable, something for everyone. Antonio on reception was truly outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. For example when we asked for directions he didn't just point us in the right direction he walked outside the door and showed us. NH we always find to be exceptional but Antonio really made this hotel stick in the memory and he certainly gave us a reason to return.

I stayed with my partner for three nights. The staff was nice, the room clean and spacious, the location perfect. There's also free WiFi. Look no further.

Location is perfect if you want to see Santa Cruz. A bit missing view toward the water, but entire Santa Cruz is missing a really good ocean view (too much business there). Hotel very modern and convenient. Strange parking / elevator, but convenient to park car, but be ready for "horrible" smell in the car elevator and parking garage.

initially we agreed with the four star ta rating but the longer into our four night stay the lower this went. hotel is bright, clean, well positioned for restaurants and local travel (two minutes walk to tram stop).surprisingly not noisy. took long time to check in wanting lots of info. (including email address for wifi). offered two types of room and upgrade for fifteen euros (we did and got a much better room with king bed and corner location). two wifi options - basic foc and superior for about ten euros more. I chose basic but, after downloading update system refused to connect again for a 24hrs without paying for the superior option, so had to wait to 5pm the following day. tried connecting in reception, without success, took netbook to local restaurant to download emails. offered half price breakfast at 8 euros - well worth the money. having gone out for the day we returned to find the room serviced but the tea, coffee and milk had not been replenished although reception did organise this. we also found the soap supplied was microscopically small and only lasted one shower so we constantly had to ask reception to replenish this despite requests for the maid to do so. finally the air conditioning in the room took a long time to reach a comfortable level (more than three hours). we did leave a spare key in the master switch by the door to keep it on during the time we were out but this was removed by the maid. a nice hotel on the surface but with annoying flaws

Overall the hotel is fine for a stay. Its clean, modern, the rooms are nice and its pretty inexpensive for the quality. However, if you DON'T speak Spanish and are going to need help from hotel for anything more than checking in to your room--you are in trouble. They barely speak English (at least the two I had interactions with) it was very difficult for them to help me with navigating questions or anything else. It was very frustrating as I was driving a rental car and Santa Cruz can be difficult to navigate for the tourist in a car. If you speak Spanish this place is going to be just fine. Breakfast incredible expensive, go to a cafe next-door.
