Comfort Inn Smithfield near I-95

The elevator had 1 vent broken and the arrow signs on the door were taped on with duck tape. In the kitchen area 1 large window was broken and the lobby was very hot. One staff member said it had been broken for over 1 month. The property was run down, old, very stale smell. Needs to be renovated!!!! 1st room I was given had broken fridge and ac didn't work properly. They moved us to another room and the door to the closet was broken and the phone was missing. I will never stay there again!

Conveniently located off of I-95, plenty of restaurant options, etc.

The room/bathroom could use updating, but not critical for my needs

Front desk ok, shower needs recaulking, had a very hard time getting my room door to close.

Everything was good except a minor issue of replenishment of coffee in room!

See above; it was the only thing!

A few things to mention, shower head non adjustable, carpet needed to be vacuumed, toilet had stains around the bowl, front door did not close properly. Bath room door would not stay shut. Breakfast was poor. Waffle machine didn't cook very well and no sugar free syrup. Upon leaving desk clerk was told about all of above items and she said maintenance would be in formed. As for sugar free syrup none was available. With 1/3 seniors travelers wanting sugar free items ,this is a No No

The breakfast ended pretty early, and part of my box spring was broken.

Bed not so high

The room did not have hot water on the shower. We called twice at night and in the morning to. Complain about this issue. The bed cover had human stain. The room didn’t smell fresh and the whole property is old and outdated since the eighty’s. The telephone in the room is an old phone from the seventies. The entire property needs to be renovated. Stay in another reputable name property
