Smells of cigarettes, even in a non smoking room. The place is dirty, stains all over the walls

The location was convenient and the price was good compared to other local hotels.

I had to request to move rooms due to the room 318 not being cleaned. The bed was made, but the room was covered in hair, smears and tooth paste on the mirrors, hair in the shower and on the toilet, etc. There was also a bug crawling under the pillow into the headboard. When I reported this to the desk associate she just looked at me and then gave me another room. She did not ask any questions, tell me they were sorry or would request any pest control. The new room was also not clean, but was better and bug free. However the shower would not get hot, there was visible water damage on the ceiling above it, the sink would not drain for several minutes and the bathroom fan did not work. You can hear pretty much everything going on inside each room, so noise was an issue at night. Several things were broken throughout the hotel. The elevator had duct tape over the arrow space beside the door. I’m sure this isn’t the worst hotel available, but it is by far the worst hotel I have ever booked. The only reason I did not switch hotels was the lack of availability due to the World Series games and the cost to cancel. I did not feel like fighting the battle to request a refund or fees to be waived.

The hotel had hot breakfast and clean facility

Room was nice, but you could only see the tv where the bed was, but where the couch was located.

Would have rated higher on bonus question, but the toilet seat and toilet base was wobbly. I had to let the front desk know it. Toilet base was never tightened.

They were able to upgrade my reservation to the 3 bed room. I was grateful that they had it available and were willing to do it.

The only ice machine was located in the lobby and there were no vending machines...
