Had a wonderful time! Got to relax in the Jacuzzi. Had the fireplace on it was a great little romantic get away

AC in my room did not work but after I switched it was a pleasant stay

Our first stay was great! Our room was clean and stocked well. The staff was friendly and attentive to any requests we had. Clean is my top priority when staying in hotels. We give that an excellent!

The rooms was large and very clean. But the walls are very thin and the outdoor pool stays open late and it quite loud.

We stayed one night in Cedar River Village, one-bedroom suite. The room was very nice, spacious, and cozy. It has 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a full size pull out in the living room. Nice large windows and balcony. The bathroom is large with a jacuzzi type tub, separate shower, and double sinks. The kitchen has a sink, mini-fridge, and microwave. NO STOVE. It was the perfect size room for 5 people, one night. We were very happy with the room itself. The River Bistro is conveniently located within Cedar River so for a quick meal, it works. The food is average, prices decent. It has a nice patio area for outdoor dining and a nice tavern game area with 2 pool tables, corn hole, etc. for families. The service at the River Bistro is by far the worst! The servers walk around looking very gloomy and unhappy to be there. Our server seemed very timid and unsure of herself. When our order finally arrived we were missing 2 meals. It took another 10+ min to get those meals. Went in for a "Quick" cup of coffee on SUNDAY morning. After waiting at the bar for over 10 min to order the coffee, she went to pour it, there was only enough to fill half a cup. She said she would have to brew more. Being as I'd already spent at least 15 min and not to mention that the coffee was over $3.20 for a little cup of black coffee, I decided to decline and go find some on the road. I had read the Yelp reviews for this restaurant and decided to give it a chance regardless. Usually, when there are consistent bad reviews for a place, management steps up their game and fixes things. This is not the case at River Bistro. The bad reviews are all very accurate. I would have loved to give 4 or 5 stars on this property, but River Bistro keeps me from that.

The place was fine, however in September we were the only guests in the entire resort. Somewhat unsettling. Restaurant was closed on Wednesday.
