I've stayed here before. The rooms are descent / nice / simple / clean - its a 2-star hotel, but certainly not fantastic.

When I stayed here before, it was about $64 a night. For my current trip, I booked months in advance. The hotel never responded to my actual question about why my room was over $200 (higher than I was quoted), when the day before and the day after (I checked online) my stay, the room was $100 less. I know what was going on in the area, and while they claimed they were 'full', I never saw many people in the hotel or cars in the parking lot. They gave me this song and dance about it being a third party option, when that is what they tend to use for booking, but frankly, it was a total rip off for what I was charged per what I shared above; only the day I was there, it was over $100 more for that night only. The rooms are descent, but not for what I ended up paying; even the elevator wasn't working and I was upstairs. The continental breakfast 'wasn't' -- there were no options as to food; I grabbed a roll, but it was so tasteless, I spit it out. I went to 14 hotels on my three week vacation, and all the others were half the cost or less; this was the best location for me in Mesa, AZ. Considering the cost of my first visit, they were clearly taking advantage of me and others on this sole day -- usually the cost is better when one books far in advance; I could have stayed at a 4 or 5 star hotel for what they charged me. How the staff or hotel responded makes all the difference in my view; I hate people who lie or make excuses. I will never stay here again since I choose to retain my integrity. It isn't a bad place, but that isn't good enough for me.

The place was super clean and comfortable. Hall ways clean, pool was a good size, and enough parking.

No where on the website does it state that bicycles are not allowed in the rooms. We travel all over the country and stayed in different hotels and never had a problem bringing our bicycles. If you are traveling with bicycles do not book this hotel. Not sure what the policy is with wheel chairs. The reason they gave me was because they just installed new floors. The receptionist did not say anything to us when we checked in it was at the check out.

Everything about it

The pricing and location were excellent for my needs. It was close to the Mesa Temple for the pageant. It was near food vendors. It was priced where I could afford.

I could tell the room wasn't swept when it was made up. Otherwise, all was great.
