The Frangipani Langkawi Resort & Spa

Rooms and other facilities of the resort need maintenance immediately, not worth money.

The place is huge and right on the beach with two pools. The villa was large with a big bed, air con and a fan. There was an inside bath and outside shower. Walking distance to restaurants: Rockerfellas, Lot 33 and Hidden were all good. The bath water was orange, even when we let it run for a while. We weren’t told about the facilities so discovered them for ourselves. When checking in, you pay 3 RM per night and 100 RM deposit - cash only. Check in is 3 pm and check out is 12 pm.

A gentle peaceful oasis, committed to sustainable nature, gorgeous private beach, organic garden onsite, yet an easy walk to Cenang tourist-busy shops and restaurants. Loved our garden villa’s private outdoor shower. Wonderfully comfortable bed. A real find. We’ll definitely be back.

Excellent value for money. The location is the key thing here. Not many hotels are actually on the beach here and this one pretty much has its own private part of it. Breakfast is excellent and the rooms large, clean and quiet. The wifi is particularly impressive! Strong and stable connections all over the property all the way down to the beach.

The resort is in a fantastic location. Yes, it is a bit dated but this is what gives it its charm. The staff cant do enough for you and they were all very welcoming, special praise to all the girls and boys at the main bar. The setting of the resort and their passion to look after and maintain their environment is an example to us all. You will enjoy your stay here more than in the neighbouring new builds around the area that are a little soulless.

An older-style property with individual cottages for rooms was a nice change.The outdoor shower, too. A complete absence of hand towels and face clothes in the bathroom was a negative. It's hard to dry your hands on a bath towel after using the toilet and washing them. One bar and one restaurant serving a great breakfast buffet and generally good international cuisine for lunch and supper are on site. A few yards down the driveway lies a vast array of options off property. One more thing. Fantastic sunsets!

Location of the hotel excellent beachfront peaceful, breakfast great but room a bit outdated. Wardrobe in the room was filthy hasn't been clean in ages. Room 3* service was good.

Really nice simple resort. Just what you need. Staff are SO SO nice and friendly.

Amazing organic farm, the property uses amazing wetlands to clean up the waste of the hotel has organic herb garden and uses amazing techniques to use left over food from the hotel and community to produces fertiliser. Their environmental team are amazing people and really sell the ethos of the hotel. You must stay there on Langkawi

Amazing stay with great service. Stayed for my honeymoon. A little maintenance work around the rooms would have made the stay even more better.
