Villa Romana Hotel & Spa

The Hotel was lovely. Our room had a balcony which came in handy when we returned from the pool or nearby beach wet enabling us to dry off our clothes in the heat. The breakfast buffet was good, with a variety of options including lots of cakes and pastries. The staff were very helpful and were available to answer any questions and offered to help with booking any excursions. We don't speak any Italian and had no problems whatsoever. On our last day we had to check out very early and the hotel provided each of our party with a breakfast bag, which was a very nice surprise. The pool was lovely and used by us daily, especially after a walk up the many steps surrounding Minori. We had a very enjoyable 4 nights staying here.

I would stay here again and I would recommend. However some of the staff could be friendlier. It sometimes felt like I was distracting reception staff away from their cell phone……. However I’d like to add many of the other staff especially the cleaners were very friendly! In terms of cleanliness, I saw a lot of ants around the hotel! The day I arrived there were 1000s at the top of stairs as you arrive pool side.

The family run hotel was pleasant with a good location in the center of Minori. The aircon in the room didn't work well and the room was very tight. Staff friendly.

The breakfast was fantastic, plenty of choices. The pool was ideal and their booking system works really well to create a relaxing atmosphere. The staff was always super accommodating and super attentive to my family!

Service was very poor. This is just one example of 3 occasions where we were not well treated: TV was turning on automatically several times at night we complain to the cleaning lady when she came in the morning and she just said I am not here at night. Not willing to report or guide us how to avoid this. We left one night in advance, the room was not as it was in the picture and there were ants in the room, cleaning lady complained to us for eating in the room in a very rude way. In general, with the exception of a lady in the pool and the valet parking guy, the personnel were rude.

The transpiration was good close to ferry and beach. The reception was not very helpful or welcoming. The waiters where not friendly at all. over all staff where rude.

Amazing customer service! Incredible breakfast included. Pool and large lounge area allowed easy interaction with other guests. Hotel was beautifully appointed and maintained.

Room was too small for three, staff were helpful in offering another room, but the rooms were still the same just with extra beds. We asked to cancel as we had only just reserved the room a couple hours before arrival and were forced to pay 350€ for a cancelation. Which forced us to stay 1 night with no room for negotiation on cancelation fees. Shower was not suitable for a regular size person.
