The Royal Victoria Hotel

I did volunteering at UTS and this hotel was just about 3 minutes walk from the event. I booked it last minute, the price was OK and it included breakfast, too.

Very comfortable place to stay, near the town centre of Llanberis, ways to Snowdon, the Slate Museum (closed temporarily, unfortunately), and local souvenir shops. The hotel inside was perfect. I wish I could enjoy dinner there, but I didn't have chance. That must be great, too. Somehow, the price was reasonable.

I arrived several hours before check-in & was allowed to park on site early. I stayed the night before a big race and had to be up at 3am. As there were a number of guests doing the same race, the Hotel laid on a special continental breakfast for us from 2am - 4am, which was really thoughtful of them, and very much appreciated. Room, cleanliness, quietness was all great.

Great location. Bar food was very good, lots of choice. Lovely garden at the front of the hotel. Rooms on the top floor can get a little warm in the summer

Fabulous stay at a beautiful hotel. Food was very good, we had bar meals and a massive selection for breakfast. Rooms quiet and well appointed. We stayed in the single rooms , although small they are very comfy and suited our requirements. They were a bit warm though, other guests also commented on this. I'm not sure what they would be like if we had really warm weather. Staff were all lovely and very helpful. Hotel is well situated for the Snowdon Railway , Caernarfon and other popular places around the Snowdonia National Park. Plenty of parking. Planning on coming back soon.

Best way to describe the hotel is an Old hotel with an inefficient design, the staff were amazingly nice and helpful. The Eyri Longue staff included. Its situated perfectly for anyone who is doing Snowdon by foot or train. With the main bus interchange outside giving you access to Bangor and the rest of north Wales. Few things need repairing and modernizing. USB ports in the room being the main one.

Great location, fascinating history, let down as room smelled funky and the sink wasnt cleaned properly- toothpaste on taps and mirrors not polished. Tea coffee caddy unclean. Clean bedding. Great breakfast

Stayed here for one night before snowdon. A good hotel, clean and comfortable and did the job. Breakfast was also a nice addition.

Great location if you plan to walk Snowdon, located at the satrt of the Llanberis path. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable
