Extended Stay America Suites - Amarillo - West

Room was comfortable and I like the kitchenette. I can refreeze my ice packs for my next days travel

Elevator was broken upon arrival, and we were om the top floor. Getting to the actual room, the keys didnt work. Ome more trip up amd dowm 3 flights of stairs to get into the room, it was disgusting. The fridge had a unknown substance dripping down, lack of pillows of each bed and the smoke detector was hanging on by exposed wires. Upon request for more pillows amd blankets, we were told we had to go pick them up — another trip up and dowm three flights of stairs. Neighbors were nosy and inconsiderable. Also the hallways smelled of pot, which is concerning for a state where it is illegal and in a non-smoking hotel. Breakfast was less than stellar in the morning. Had to made some last minute adjustments to our stay, was told that they couldn't do it and that we had to change it through an app. Changed it through the app but the reservation didnt not change. Went back down – again three flights of stairs – to ask about the change. Turns out they could habe manually changed it the entire time.

The front desk clerk Jay was incredibly rude and the elevator wasn't working and my dog wouldn't go up the stairs he couldn't. He's a rescue and he was afraid of the stairs. The clerk wouldn't help left us in the elevator with saying he was working on it and didn't tell us he left to go fold towels. It was a horrible experience and he charged us for pets after I got a message saying there would be no extra charge.

Elevator was broken with no warning and we were on the 3rd floor with a baby. And “breakfast” was just packaged bars.

Lot of visible damage in room. Floors in room felt sticky and dirty. Broken elevator.

Elevators still broken and had to walk up to the 3rd floor. Air conditioner terribly noisy.

The elevator didn't work, the phone didn't work,L I could not get the TV to work,had to go down to the front desk for assistance because the phone was dead. There was no one at the desk so I had to ring the bell several times, then he came out of a room across the hall. And was very rude a refused to help me.
