The Lugger Hotel

We had an enjoyable 2 night stay. A number of the staff were new to the job so you could tell some settling in was taking place. All staff were however always welcoming and very friendly. The food was amazing. Make sure to book into the restaurant as there is no real alternative nearby. Great for a 2/3 night stay.

Charming, quirky hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Food was absolutely delicious. Location was beautiful, right by the sea, so lovely views.

Very good room with lovely bathroom, although no view. Service very friendly although staff new and still learning. Food excellent with different choice each day.

Just returned from 10 days at The Lugger Hotel. Lovely stay nice and quiet not over crowded with hotel full. Dining room timed for breakfast and dinner as fewer tables due to Covid therefore felt safe, all staff wearing masks while serving you. Masks for all in public areas. Covid secure. Housekeeping only comes into rooms if you ask them to so if you want them in everyday you have to make that quite clear. Little bags left on doors daily with goodies to replenish hospitality tray, again you may have to ask for specifics. Nice little fridge in the room, good white and company toiletries, take your own glasses and mugs for use in the room as only plastic bathroom glasses and paper mugs supplied. Wi-fi intermittent but your on holiday so not important. TV channels intermittent as to what you can get. Would be nice if there were a couple of chairs in the room especially if weather not very good but we moved our terrace chairs inside to use. Would also be nice if there were cushions for them, sun lounger has seen better days and is uncomfortable to sit on as seat part has a big dip due to broken supports. Food was lovely for both breakfast and dinner all freshly prepared. Car parking can be an issue at times. Just a few issues but didn’t impact on stay overall. Our second stay and may not be our last.

Hotel is a great choice for a short break. Staff brilliant and food in hotel was great. Parking was a bit of a pain and sat nav sends you down a single track with no passing places. Overall great stay and would recommend. Only one pub in village and drinks were overpriced.

Fabulous time in a cute little fishing village hotel. Good people and great food. The only frustration was the WiFi not working at the time, but to be honest this was probably a blessing!

good service amazing staff could not do enough for you. Small friendly hotel in a beautiful cove. Food was amazing great Chief knows how to cook and uses local produce even the crab and Lobster from the fisherman daily. Manager/Owner was always around trying to make your stay special. we are going back next year!
