Very quite and out of the way place, no shops, very friendly local pub (the ship Inn) serving excellent food in a warm and cosy atmosphere.

"Lovely little hotel but restaurant disappointing "

Great location. Staff welcoming. Nice ambience. Lovely bedroom overlooking cove at premium price. Restaurant ok but nothing special and expensive for what was on offer. Disappointingly limited seafood options.

The location was quintessentially Cornwall, could not get any nearer to the sea. The staff were absolutely superb, nothing was too much trouble for any one of them. Very polite and attentive. I would've liked to have had access to more tap water or a water fountain. Install a machine where guests can buy a Lugger Hotel flask for a small fee, which could then be reused to cut down on plastic PEP bottles.The flask could also then be a keepsake memento of the holiday. I could've done with slightly more smoked haddock for breakfast, perhaps that's me being greedy though. The food was excellent mind you!!
