Wonderful! We enjoyed our stay at The Lugger immensely, the staff were superb, very friendly nothing too much trouble. A little gem, will definitely return.

The Lugger staff are fabulous! As I am a coeliac they were able to adapt the menu quickly and easily. Well done chef! The hotel was clean and the extra additions of milk in the room fridge and fresh fruit were very welcome. The giant chocolate cookies were enjoyed by my husband! The hotel is in a tiny village with very narrow and steep curving roads so chances of getting big vehicles is a task but well worth it when you get there. During the evening you can sit on the decking and the hotel light up the incoming/outgoing tide which is so very peaceful.

Great location, service and excellent food . Lovely room with a terrace area . My only disappointment was the table we were allocated at dinner which was in a separate area to the main restaurant and I commented about this at the time. During busy holiday periods perhaps they should consider having two sittings in the restaurant.

Perfect hideaway. Secluded. Fantastic gourmet food. Best ice cream on planet earth (home made).

Nice relaxing weekend away

Great setting on a tiny bay, which is a working crab and lobster fishing harbour. Really want to go back in the winter when a gale blows in.

Very laid back, nice quiet hotel, wonderful views

Completely unique hotel with rooms dotted around the harbour. Outstanding restaurant with sea views and incredible menu. We had an awesome three course dinner with fresh, local products. In the morning, breakfast was equally satisfying with kippers, fresh, local yoghurt and great coffee. Although this hotel is off the beaten track, we’d gladly take the long journey again. Staff, cheerful friendly and professional. Setting sublime. Lovely coastal path on your doorstep too!

Absolute gem of a hotel and in an idealic spot too. We had a lovely weekend then and will definitely book again. The staff are lovely, the hotel is immaculate and the food was very good too.
