The feel and character of this property is one of timeless serenity. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are always happy to assist you, welcoming and relaxed. The accommodation, amenities, and dining facilities were exactly as expected - just lovely. Well located to Ubud central but far enough away to enjoy the tranquility.

Really beautiful gardens with walkways to the different rooms. Breakfast was really great too!

History, traditional presentation, stunning location outlook .

We were given a room which was quite a long walk from the main lobby plus a lot of stairs up in spite of telling that there is an infant with us. The room was beiji2 which was right below the road. All night long we kept hearing bike and car noise and horns. The property is not too clean with all the wooden doors etc having holes and gaps in middle. The main door, bathroom door etc all had holes. The washroom has 0 ventilation. No exhaust, no window apart from the minor opening which opens inside the room !! Staff was very courteous and friendly. Room service average. Breakfast buffet average. The spa was wonderful and my wife loved it. The pool is small but gives a different feeling set amidst the jungle. Mosquitos as expected in a place set in the forests. Ambience outside the room was very nice and felt good to be so close to nature. May be the other rooms are better as most of our dislike wa switch the room In spite of choosing the deluxe rajah room option during booking.

Beautiful location. Close enough to walk to central Ubud. Friendly staff. Great views. Bathrooms old and need a really good clean. Room smelt damp. Aircon didn’t work particularly well. Shuttle bus only runs every couple of hours.

Truly a beautiful hotel. Spacious room with furnished balcony. Excellent buffet breakfast. All staff very pleasant, always smiling & helpful. Many stairs, thus not for the handicapped or those with weak legs.

Superfriendly staff, clean area and sweet pool! A good 15 minutes walk from central Ubud, a bit quieter which were nice.
