Lovely hotel and brilliant staff who are always ready to assist. About a 10-15 minute walk to the city centre or a quick shuttle / cab trip. Would stay again without any hesitation.

If you want to be immersed in the jungle then this is the hotel for you. The location was excellent and the coffee shop across the street was amazingly delicious. The continental breakfast was good but the view makes it better. Just keep in mind the WiFi will suck here unfortunately but overall had a great time here. I would come back to visit and stay at this hotel.

The facilities are all first class. The hotel is steeped in history and the pride felt by the Balinese when showcasing this aspect of the hotel, was obvious. To come in from the bustling street markets or temples and return to Tjampuhan, was like returning to a sanctuary.

The hotel was fantastic but I will admit I have never seen so many stairs in one place. They must make stairs locally there and got a awesome deal. I broke my leg last year and are still hobbling a bit. Locked my self out of my room. Preferred to wait an hour for a cleaner to walk past rather than mountain climb back to the foyer. Awesome hotel

"Tjampuhan Hotel"

Great location - walking distance to sites, good restaurants and small mini-mart across the street. Hotel staff is extremely accommodating. Nestled in a lush forest with beautiful scenery and peaceful surroundings. Only drawback was an ant problem in the hotel room (which staff tried to deal with by spraying daily) and shower that did not drain properly. Rooms could use a bit of updating. Overall, was pleased to be there.
