Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sparta by IHG

Everything was fine - like it has always been at this Hotel. The bathroom ceiling had a leak. They quickly moved us to the room across the hall.

We were in town for a family wedding and a group of us stayed here. We were able to gather in the lobby For an impromptu Happy Hour without bothering anyone. The staff was great in getting us several trays and utensils from the closed kitchen which we appreciated. Good location, too.

Stay was great, this is my 2nd stay here in the last month. A big shout out to the lady on 3rd shift, she’s went out of her way both times I stayed.

I have stayed in this hotel a few times before. This time was just a little different and hopefully easy fixes. The room I was in smelled strongly of water damage, as did the fitness area. I attached a photo of the fitness area that had several dead insects on the floor. I love the location and there are plenty of quick places to eat around, and Walmart right across the street. I will stay here again, but hopefully the smell and insect situation is improved next time!

The staff were unbelievably friendly people. Awesome attitudes🤗

This is in addition to the review I just completed! I need to add that the elevator made such a noise while taking us up to our room, that it seemed ready to break!!! Something needs to be done to fix this before it does trap someone inside!

Really big room, nicely appointed

The desk clerk was very kind and efficient . The staff member in charge of breakfast was super friendly and positive . My only negative is that my husband inadvertently left his wireless Bluetooth earbuds and charger in the room but when I called later that day , housekeeping did. It turn them in as found. Discouraging!
