Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sparta by IHG

This is easily one of the cleanest and most well maintained hotel I've stayed in (and I travel a lot). Even the 'free' breakfast was terrific (omelettes, sausage, bacon, biscuits and sausage gravy, etc....) and available at more reasonable hours than many locations.

We could not close or open the window covering in the room. It was stuck half open. The toilet didn’t function properly. It ran water without stop after flushing, so we had to raise the bulb every time we used it. The T.V. Was poor quality as the picture was fuzzy. And, we heard noise from above and next to our room until late at night.

The staff was amazing, and accommodating. The property was clean. I’ll definitely stay again..☺️

Not a lot of dinner options, but this is a small town so probably normal.

It was one of the worst experiences I've had traveling, took 40 minutes to check in with a prepaid room, had to call hotel while standing at front desk to get someone to even check me in, then the next morning at 9am housekeeping was knocking on the door, when I answered was asked if I was checking out, when I replied check out wasn't until 11, the housekeeper rudely responded I have to do my job. I was going to complain when I checked out but again no one at the front desk, hotel itself is nice and good breakfast, but service and customer hospitality was terrible,.
