Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Sherman Highway 75 by IHG

This hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. The elevator was out of order. Ice machines were out of order. Fan switch in bathroom was falling apart. Chair in room had dirty arm rests.

For the price we paid: The elevator wasn't working and we were on the 3 rd floor. The side door wouldn't open with a key to get in near our stairwell. The rooms were clean but tile in the bathroom was loose and mold in the cocking of the bathroom. The stairwells were dusty and dirty carpets.

The elevator was out of order. The ice machines were out of order. The bathroom in the pool area was out of order. Part of the ceiling was falling down in the pool area. The security doors were never locked except the one into our room. The shower in our room didnt work properly. The mattress was extremely hard. The staff was very friendly and helpful but it does not make up for the fact that this hotel was not worth the price we paid to stay there and will never stay there again.

Not much the whole place was dirty there was items in my fridge poop in the stairwell

Elevator out of service. My husband has difficulty walking & we had to climb 3 flights of stairs to our room

No soap in room when asked at front desk was told they were all out. To me this is a cleanliness and health issue. We went to stote and bought some. Was not impressed with the room. Shower was in rough shape

Horrible experience, elevator was out water damage everywhere. Didn’t get the room i ordered online. They down graded me never ever staying again!

They are trying to renovate, but slowly, it seems. The bed was comfortable and clean, but the bathroom really needed to be re-caulked. The elevator didn't work on the morning that we left. We were glad we were on the 2nd floor.

The staff qas friendly and helpful. The pool was nice and warm. They room was updated and very spacious.

I liked there was free breakfast and that the employees were on top of things the entire time. Very accommodating.

I didn't like that when we got to the entrance of the hotel, there was a huge water leak blocking the main entrance. The Holiday Inn sign fell and broke a water line. I didn't like that when we got to the indoor pool area, (that the pool was the MAIN REASON I BOOKED IT FOR ME AND MY KIDS) it was extremely warm, bubbling and the smell in there was horrific. The water was so green and the water was bubbling and almost hot. My kids are still disappointed. Also, your channels on the tv and the "channel list" you have, 7 of them worked and they weren't ANYTHING my children wanted to watch since we couldn't swim. We had just purchased swimsuits, as well about an hour before. I called to cancel my reservation because of the water blocking the entrance, no one could enter or exit, but when I called, the employee stated that it had already been cleaned and cleared and to continue the booking. The pool was the MOST DISGUSTING part about the entire experience. I've always booked with Holiday Inn and I've never had such a disappointing experience in my entire life.
