Staybridge Suites Kalamazoo by IHG

Close to restaurants and stores and right off the highway. Beds were comfortable.

Short staffed. Our first room was dirty and had not been cleaned. Hotel lobby wasn’t super clean.

Overall hotel is in decent shape and breakfast was average; the rooms are large but fully carpeted which caused my room to have an unpleasant odor.

Location, amenities, staff, cleanliness

The A/C operation. Could not get it just to be cool, but not blast all night. If we turned it up to 70, it would be warm air. 69 degrees, freezing cold.

Staff were very personable, room was clean and comfortable

2nd time staying here, love the rooms, location. The true gem of this hotel is the breakfast crew!! Top notch and under valued. I recommend adding an optional tip jar!!!

The friendliness

The bed was not comfortable, and the out door space was closed down earlier then expected

Everything was good, convenient location fo the highway, plenty of room in the suite, kitchen had everything we needed for a weekend trip, breakfast was good and ample, we appreciated the healthy options. Like most hotel pools, it was a little too warm and small for lap swimming, but we lap swimmers are not that common, so I understand. Front desk staff was helpful and the information sheet on breakfast hours and wifi useful, more hotels should do that.

My overall experience here was terrible! The a.c didn’t work in the room the shower had a huge hole in it no one even tried to help with a room change contacted the manager was told there’s nothing that could be done 1-10 wouldn’t recommend

The service was awesome from beginning to end. Everyone was professional and attentive to our needs

I couldn't stay longer.
