Very disappointed in our stay. The carpet in the hallway was dirty and worn, same with the carpet in the room. It was dirty enough that I would not walk in the room without shoes. The shower was disgusting... dirty shower pan with hair on the pan and walls of the shower. The doors of the shower were not working and would only slide with great force. Th level of dirt made me wonder if the room had been cleaned or the bed even changed. While the location was very convenient to the airport and the front desk folks were nice, the cleanliness of the halls and room were very poor. This is the first time I have ever left a review for a hotel, but felt compelled to. Was only there for one night but was glad to leave. I definitely will not go back during my upcoming business trips to KC.

"Very underwhelming for the price"

The location is perfect if you have an event at the convention center. The restaurant was really good for a burger.

They have a serious ant problem in the lobby and the rooms. I was charged for my child’s breakfast after telling the waitress repeatedly the sign said 11 and under free. I was expecting a nice breakfast buffet. Instead I paid for the same fare you find for free at any other Holiday Inn. I expected way more out of the property and food for the price.
