South Lawn Hotel

Loved the cakes and scones in the afternoon. Enjoyed beautifully cooked fish and chips in the evening.

Heating was too high in bedroom and didn't know how to turn it down

Breakfast was good

I didn’t like all the dogs espically in breakfast.had a garden room was not really a garden just access to outside.

Once again a very enjoyable stay with all our friends at the South Lawn Hotel. Fantastic atmosphere, location, staff, food, rooms.

This was our 2nd short stay, most warm and relaxing atmosphere. The location is perfect for visiting attractions around the New Forest area. Rooms are comfortable with plenty of space and tea/coffee provisions. The staff are very welcoming and polite and friendly and the bar area is very comfortable and wzrming. The dining has a good selection and good quality food Looking forward to going again

Second visit to this lovely hotel, which is in a great quiet location. Within walking distance of the coast. The atmosphere is quiet, with plenty of comfortable sofas and chairs in the lounge area and the bar is spacious too. The rooms are clean, spacious and well equipped with a high quality ensuite. The staff were extremely professional, welcoming, polite and attentive, always there in the background for anything that was needed. We will definitely be coming back again.

We have been coming here for a few years now. We have seen the hotel develop and modernise. The rooms are spotless and comfortable and we are always made to feel very welcome every time we visit with or without our little dog. The bar area has been given a renovation and is comfortable and inviting with staff that cannot do enough for you. Congratulations to Tim and Nicky the owners for your ongoing service and improvements. We will continue to return.

First time visiting this lovely hotel and definitely not the last! Staff were all so lovely and friendly - nothing is an issue. Lovely room with our Cockerpoo who had a blast! Loved the paddock for doggy runs. Lovely drinks, fabulous breakfast and great location. Thank you for looking after us and can’t wait to return in May!

Beautiful place, very relaxing and so welcoming with your dogs.

The bed was like sleeping concrete and I came away with the most painful back after our stay. The food in the restaurant was so so greasy it gave me an upset stomach.

My husband and I stayed for a couple of nights with our dog. This was based on a friend’s recommendation. We were either my husband’s elderly parents. This was a very welcoming experience. The hotel fully caters for their furry guests. The staff are very welcoming, very professional and the hotel is spotless. Great hospitality and value for money.
