South Lawn Hotel

Beautiful hotel, spotlessly clean, extremely dog friendly and yet still manages a great balance between 2 legs and 4 legs. We stayed in a garden view room with direct access to clean and large enclosed dog paddock. Perfect in all respects. TY

Hotel was very clean. Room well equipped and comfortable. Excellent breakfast and a good choice on the menu for evening meals. Food always came up very hot. All in all an excellent place to stay for a visit to the New Forest area.

A gem of a dog friendly hotel. We booked a suite for a few days, it was a generous size, very clean and quiet. We had a door directly to the outside (useful for our dog), and near the 'dog paddock'. We did use the dog field several times, but had to keep our pup on a long-line, as the stock fencing did not cover the gates and unfortuinately she would have been able to wiggle through (perhaps some stock fencing on the gate?). We did have one issue; a dripping gutter, but we reported it after breakfast, very impressed as maintenance were outside and fixing the gutter by the time we returned to our room. An absolutely gem of a doggie friendly hotel.

Another lovely stay at South Lawn, just a short break for my husband birthday and taking advantage of a great return offer. Garden twin room on ground floor is perfect for my mobility and outdoor access for our very elderly terrier. Housekeeping staff are great very helpful, as are all the staff at reception and in the bar and dining area of the cedar tree restaurant. Great range of cooked and uncooked breakfast items, very relaxing. Enjoyed a catchup over scones and tea with my sister in law in the lounge.

Everything. Beautiful Hotel. Lovely rooms and the beds are so comfortable. Most of all the staff were fantastic. Very welcoming and attentive.

We stayed for a couple of nights and I can't fault it. Hotel was lovely and all the food we had was fantastic.

We have been for many years and have never had any times that all the staff were always on the best service you could have. We will be going back and would advise any one to go for a stay .

It was great, a pub environment, not flashy but perfect for a few nights
