Blackberry River Inn

The Inn is on a lovely piece of property with trees, grass, flowers. The bathroom was beautiful, the bed was comfortable and there was a common area "living room" that had a fridge for guests to place things and a microwave. The pool is fabulous (though it could use some more chaise lounges, there were only 2). The breakfast was truly delicious, made to order every morning. Home made chocolate chip cookies are out for the taking and there are dvds to borrow if you want to watch t.v. There is no cable or roku, so if that is important to you, you may want to bring a laptop as there is internet and you can stream your own. Campbell Falls is very very close and stunning. There is also a good winery down the street which had some lovely wines. Overall, this was a perfect getaway.

No air conditioning in common areas

The place is lovely and the staff were great . The breakfast was delicious and the room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We were greeted and welcomed by Lucas who was most helpful. Would stay there again!

We stayed one night on our way to Maine form Maryland. Our 1st floor room in the carriage house was cozy. Our favorite part of our stay was having breakfast in the morning room. The host served and prepared a wonderful breakfast -the fruit salad was the best ever. An improvement would be to have grab bars installed in the tub.

Staff and fellow travelers were friendly. Breakfast setting lovely. Ladies very welcoming and friendly. Loved the inn. I would most definitely stay again. Pool was open but didnt have time to use it..
