Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati Blue Ash

Staff was friendly and room was very clean.

The room was older looking with limited space. Room very small.

Only complaints I have is that 1 of our rooms had a large crack in the window and the shower products were empty. It was just a 1 night stay with 3 rooms

The hotel itself is very clean and modern. The beds were comfortable. The reason I gave it four stars instead of five is for a couple reasons. The main reason would be that breakfast is not included. For the price of the rooms I feel like it should be. I've been at much cheaper hotels with breakfast included. Also the shower head was really crappy. Other than that the hotel was very nice as long as you don't care about eating in the morning.

AS a Hilton member and religiously book at the Hilton for business trips I am disappointed that they charged a full amount stay when my flight was cancelled and I had to cancel my stay. They refused to charge me a fee and charged me the entire stay regardless of my flight cancellation. Disappointed and will now stay at the Marriot.

convenient location

Pool was closed two of the three days we were there. Shower had absolutely no pressure coming out of the showerhead. Breakfast was average with not a lot of options.

Made a mistake. If your read above HGI Midtown has been out go to for a couple years. Family moved out this way and we switched. User error! Started with check in. Had some communication difficulty due to shrieking preschoolers in the lobby playing ? cops and robbers? Stay was all on points, but finally came clear they were advance charging me $150 'incidentals'. 10+ years bouncing between Diamond and Gold, never heard of this but whatever. to elevator. Right hand elevator car. floor 3 button would not work. This elevator clearly programmed to be primary as it always came first. Another guest saw me pushing floor 5 to get that car to leave so I could call the other smirked, 'yesterday neither car would stop on 3'. I can't confirm that. Did notice no elevator maintenance certificate in the car (either car). Is this a requirement? IDK. Reported this, now, 3 days later no diff. Wife is recently post op knee surgery, so stairs were out. Since I was $150 in the hole, maybe, bought family dinner @ restaurant. Both toilets in the men's clogged. Yuck. To room. Right hand light fixture in bathroom (which needs a serious upgrade) had some black sticky stuff on it, like a soda bottle had sprayed, or something. Last straw: stay was Friday to Monday. Sunday @ 12:30 PM both physical card keys and my digital key quit. Front desk: "there appears to be some problem with the cards". Me "ya think?" Can't remember when I first hit Gold, but had to be 2015 or so. This was a first. Just. Stay. Away. For us, back to Midtown, or another brand.

Smoke smell

When first arriving to check in there was no employee present! There were 2 guests that were waiting to get checked in and one was calling the facility with none answering! My husband knocked on the employee door behind the desk and finally someone came out then greeted all of us !!! Second we received our room keys that didn’t work twice in a row. We then asked to be put in another room which was accommodated. I’ve stayed in this hotel before but was turned off for future stays
