Hotel Sombra del Agua

Such an amazing place located in the beautiful town of Chiapas. My family really enjoyed our stay thank you for always responding to any of our questions and helping us get the most in our trip highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing! The hotel is walking distance to everything! We loved the restaurant that was on site. The food was amazing!

The location was great

A very good location. Because our room was adjacent to the restaurant and patio it was a bit loud. I would stay here again but choose a different room

Stop looking if this is in your budget. Excellent hotel. Clean and large rooms.they arranged for a tour which started at 4 am and dropped me to Palanque. On the heart of the city.

The restaurant was under construction while we were there so we had to go elsewhere but there were tons of restaurants around . The staff were fantastic in all areas of help.

Very well located, large room, air conditioning/heating available, clean, good service. It is walking distance to the pedestrian streets, downtown plaza, lots of restaurants and shopping around. Nice restaurant on site.

The lobby area and patio was nice visibly, but their restaurant food wasn’t good. I stayed 4 nights and they never had Mexican bread (pan dulce) to accompany your coffee. I and my husband got really sick with a fever, chills, and food poisoning. I went to the front desk and told them and they replied that everyone gets sick when they visit that town. I had to go look for a pharmacy as they were very unhelpful and offered no support. Their concern was only to know if we ate elsewhere to blame the other restaurants. All their food is extremely condimented and everything has a sauce. I wasn’t impressed at all. The city is overrated. It dirty and most of the city has graffiti on all their homes. It didn’t feel safe at all.

Centric and affordable, it's restaurant is run by an award winning chef, near the pedestrian zone. Cons: you can hear your neighbors.
