Galway Heights Hotel

Cozy hotel with very clean rooms and great menus from the restaurant. The breakfast is also very good. Very courteous, prompt and nice staff.

My suggestion is that if you could add more variety’s in the Breakfast and in Dinner as well

I don’t even know where to begin to rate this property. We were supposed to be staying there for 3 days but ended up staying for 5 days as we were stranded because of the cyclone/storm that hit Srilanka in November. The staff couldn’t have been more kinder and accommodating with us. They checked in on us everyday and provided updates on the weather and conditions. They had a lounge filled with books and games which helped us to keep busy. The breakfast was nice. The food was good too and the staff were exceptional in every way possible. The hotel itself is very beautiful. Near the lake and not too far from the city. Backside of the hotel is a lovely tea estate that you can walk around. Will definitely recommend and come back here someday.

The rooms are a bit old but very comfortable

Excellent location in the tea plantations. Very British colonial style. Rooms were spacious and very well appointed. Bathrooms were very clean and with all the amenities. Good bar and lounges and games rooms. Dinner and breakfast had a good spread of meals. Meals were very well prepared and tasty.

The shower in one of our rooms leaked under the shower doors. Hot water runs out after a single shower and one must wait 15 minutes for the water to heat up

The room was very nice, and the breakfast was excellent!

This may be just my personal opinion, but the hotel and the room had an unpleasant smell. It might have been from an air freshener or the carpets.

Rent og pent på hele hotellet. Ok mat. Veldig hjelpsomt personale, nesten «masete hyggelig»

Ingen fasiliteter utover bar og biljardbord. Litt langt fra sentrum for å kunne gå. Litt støy for rommet på forsiden. Morgentrafikken liker å tute når de passerer.
