Personal touch the Executive Chef Sanjeewa had with the diners was wonderful and we enjoyed his company as well as the dinner. The hoppers and the curries were excellent. The swimming pool and other amenities were lovely. We enjoyed our evening at the pool. The staff were very helpful

Young staff was very supportive. Pool was having tree shelter.

Von außen wirkt dieses Hotel wie ein echtes Luxus-Hotel – gepflegt, schön und vielversprechend. Das Essen war ganz gut.

Unser Zimmer war alt, abgewohnt, modrig und einfach nur unangenehm. Es wirkte weder gepflegt noch sauber, sondern eher wie seit Jahren nicht richtig renoviert. Die Betten waren unbequem und hatten einen muffigen Geruch – erholsamer Schlaf ist hier nicht möglich. Das ist besonders enttäuschend, weil die Außenanlage und der erste Eindruck etwas komplett anderes versprechen. Einziger Lichtblick war das Abendessen mit guter Auswahl. Insgesamt fühlt man sich hier leider getäuscht – außen hui, innen absolut nicht akzeptabel. Wir würden definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

I stayed for two nights at Mahaweli Reach Hotel and had a very pleasant experience. The food was of excellent quality, and I especially enjoyed both the breakfast and dinner—they were superb. The room was spacious, very clean, and well-maintained. The overall hotel environment was calm and maintained with a high level of cleanliness. What stood out the most was the staff service. The team was extremely friendly, professional, and attentive throughout my stay. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kandy.
