Lovely staff, great pool area. Good choice of food for breakfast and dinner.

There was a group of guests playing musing through their own speaker, disturbing every other guest. We wished the staff told them to keep it down. For the reason we left the bar early. TV in the room didn't work. The lighting mechanism switched off the sockets at night and couldn't charge phones overnight.

The The One Bed River Suite was spacious and had beautiful river views from the balcony. The setting is peaceful with lovely gardens and a large pool — great for relaxing after sightseeing. Housekeeping did a good job and the atmosphere felt calm and charming.

Food was average and sometimes lacked freshness or flavour. Reception staff seemed inattentive and check-in was slow. Some areas of the hotel feel dated and could use a refresh. Overall, a lovely stay but service and food could be improved.

"Terrible experience from start to finish — definitely not coming back."

It was nice

After a long trip, I was woken up at 8 a.m. by a staff member knocking on my door just to get a signature for the bill, even though I had clearly mentioned the night before that I’d handle it at checkout. It completely disturbed my rest. The food was very poor and barely edible. The restaurant also never delivered the breakfast as promised, which caused us to miss the time window to go and have it ourselves. Even the complimentary water tasted awful — almost like toilet water. To make matters worse, the hotel asked us to check out before 11 a.m. because they had an event planned. That’s simply unacceptable and very unprofessional. Overall, I’m very disappointed with the service, food quality, and management. Definitely would not stay here again.
