Bugs. Way too many bugs for the price. The building needs an overhaul. Too bad because the location is great and there is so much potential with all the space there is here.

I am from this area and often get hotels now when I visit family. This was my first time at Sunset Motel and I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and very happy with the room and experience. The furniture seemed new; the bedding, pillows, and bed were very comfortable (slept great); and the heat and AC worked well. It’s a great value for high season in the Gorge, especially if you’ll be out and about most of the day. Will definitely book again.

TV could be bigger. No toilet seat cover.

The manager and his wife are completely unstable, highly aggressive, and incredibly rude people. Our room's coffee maker wasn't working, and when my wife politely called to report it, he started yelling at her over the phone. When he came to our room, he and his wife started screaming at us terribly and insulting my husband and me inside our own room. It was an awful, terrifying experience and completely unprofessional. Looking at other reviews, it’s clear this management has a history of being nasty and abusive to guests. I absolutely DO NOT recommend staying at this hotel because they are far too aggressive. We are demanding a full refund. Do not stay here if you want to feel safe!"

Easy to find. Room convenient to car.

Room was a little crampt. Only one washrag for 2 people and it was stained.

Sunset Hotel was a nice hotel. Everything was clean, the property was well maintained, and the price was very good.

The only negative about this property was the temperature of the shower/bath water. After an active day of walking/hiking I wanted to soak in a hot bath, but there was not enough hot water for a bath.
